Virat Kohli rued his own poor batting performance after Royal Challengers Bangalore loss a four-wicket defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens on Sunday in their IPL 2018 opener.
“I played too many dot balls and couldn’t get any momentum going” said Virat kohli. The Indian captain also rued the fact that he and South Africa’s AB de Villiers got dismissed to a part-time spinner off two consecutive deliveries. Kohli said after the match “I think we were 15 short with the bat. I played too many dot balls and couldn’t get any momentum going. Me and AB getting out in 2 balls to a part-timer was a game-changing event,” .
