New Zeland started brilliantly and Martin Guptil(79 of 79 balls) and Henry Nicholls gave New Zeland a brilliant start of 93 runs. Chahal gave India an important breakthrough. Martin Guptil’s run out gave India a chance to come back. Kiwi’s middle order fell apart under pressure from Indian bowlers but Ross Taylor (73 of 74) helped New Zeland to achieve a respectful total.
