25 commandos deployed in a Kerala village to stop the spread of Coronavirus

A total of 25 commandos have been cordoned off in Puntura village under Thiruvananthapuram district after 119 residents were found to be positive for coronavirus.

Of the 600 swab samples collected from the village of Puntura, 119 were positive for coronaviruses. Of those, 54 were reported to be local infections on Wednesday.
Minister Kadampalli Surendran, who is in charge of the district epidemic control cut-off, told reporters that a superspreader had been identified in the village. His presence has led to a rapid increase in local infections in the village.
