Avalanche leaves one soldier dead, two others injured in Kashmir
An avalanche hit an Army post in Kupwara district of Kashmir on Tuesday amid heavy snowfall and resulted in the death of one soldier and injured two others.
New Delhi, 18/11: An avalanche hit a forward army post in the Kupwara district of Kashmir on Tuesday amid heavy snowfall. The calamity claimed the life of one Indian soldier and injured two others in the Tanghdar area of Kupwara district in northern Kashmir. As per the sources, the avalanche hit the post at around 8 pm on Tuesday night and swept away three soldiers. All three of them were rescued and rushed to the hospital only to have one jawan pass away later.
