Ban on flights to the UK to be Extended!!

New Delhi, 29/12: The temporary ban on flights to the UK is likely to be extended, said Civil Aviation Minister Hardeep Singh on Monday.

The minister said, “I foresee a slight extension of the temporary suspension. I don’t expect that extension to be a long or indefinite extension,”

“In the next day or two, we will find out if any additional steps need to be taken, or when we can start easing the current temporary suspension,” he added.

The flights the UK and India were banned by the civil aviation ministry from  December 23 to December 31. The ban imposed due to a new coronavirus strain found in the United Kingdom.
