IIPM director Arindam Chaudhuri arrested for Rs 23 crore tax evasion

The director of the Indian Institute of Planning and Management (IIPM), Arindam Chaudhuri was arrested for evading taxes of about Rs  23 Crore. He was arrested by Central Goods & Services Tax (CGST).

Gurudas Malik Thakur, who is the Director of the company, has also been arrested under the same offenses and sent to 14 days’ judicial custody.
