India vs Australia Series: Rohit Sharma Declared Fit, will travel to Australia
Rohit Sharma has cleared his fitness test at NCA on Friday. Rohit was recovering from a hamstring injury which he picked during IPL.
New Delhi, 11/12: Indian batting star Rohit Sharma has cleared his fitness test on Friday at National Cricket Academy(NCA) in Bangalore. He was struggling with a hamstring injury which he suffered in the IPL. Rohit’s fitness comes as a big sigh of relief for the Indian Team Management as his experience will come in handy down under. his
The 33-year old had pulled his hamstring during IPL this year, thus unable to travel to Australia for the limited-overs leg. Though, Rohit played in IPL in spite of the injury which, may have aggravated since. There was no clear statement about Rohit’s injury either from the BCCI or from Team Management.
The Mumbaikar is likely to undergo a 14-day quarantine in Australia and will be available for selection only in the 3rd test match in Sydney on January 7 after training for a week.
