Schools and Colleges of these states won’t open in Unlock 5.0

(NR): The Union Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has issued a guideline for opening schools and colleges with the implementation of Unlock 5.0. However, the decision has to be taken by the states in this matter. In the Unlock 5.0 guidelines, schools have been asked to open under standard operating procedures. There is a provision to open schools for classes 9 to 12 only and in this also students do not necessarily have to go to school. The same rules have been applied to open colleges. Even after all this, there are some states where it has been decided to keep the schools completely closed. States have been allowed to open schools and coaching institutes with a fifty percent number by October 15, but it depends entirely on what they have to do.

But these states have decided not to open schools in unlock 5.0

These states are

  • Kerala
