Section 144 in Bengaluru from Today…
Bengaluru, 24/12: The night curfew restrictions under section 144 was imposed by the Bengaluru police till January 1. The night curfew begins from today i.e. December 24. The duration of the curfew will be 11 pm to 5 am.
The Karnataka government is trying its best to curve the growth of coronavirus disease. The night curfew is a step towards it, especially now when the entire world is petrified due to the arrival of new coronavirus strains.
Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar said while talking to the reporters, “TAC had recommended imposing night curfews from 8 pm onwards as a precautionary measure. However, after much deliberation, we decided to restrict the movement of individuals from 11 pm to 5 am.”
