Terrorist Attack in J&k, 2 killed including SPO and Councilor

Sopore, 29/3: Terrorists attack has taken place in Sopore, Jammu and Kashmir. During the meeting held in Dak Bungalow here, the terrorists attacked, in which an SPO was martyred and a councilor was killed. Also, another councilor was injured.

According to information received from sources, the BDC meeting was going on in Sopore’s Dak Bungalow. Then suddenly there was a Terrorists Attack. The terrorists started firing indiscriminately. In which two people were killed while several people were injured.

After the terror attack, the security forces have surrounded the area, and a search operation is being conducted. Joint operation is done by the Indian Army, CRPF, and Jammu and Kashmir Police Sopore.

The Kashmir Zone Police Tweeted, “#Terrorists fired at Municipal Office #Sopore. In this #terror incident, police personnel Shafqat Ahmad & councilor Riyaz Ahmad got #martyred & councilor Shams-ud-din Peer got injured. Injured shifted to hospital for treatment. Area cordoned off & further details shall follow”.

In Sopore, the security forces are keeping an eye on the rumble. All blocks have been closed. Every vehicle is being searched.
