Chess not checkers: BJP to appoint two Deputy CM in Bihar

Along with Tarkisore Prasad, Renu Devi will also become the Deputy Chief Minister of Bihar, as per the recent revelations from BJP.

Patna, 16/11: BJP has decided to take a play out of its latest playbook and is going to appoint Renu Devi along with Tarkishore Prasad as the Deputy Chief Minister to the Nitish Kumar led Bihar. According to the new strategy, BJP is going to play casteist politics in the appointment of Renu Devi for the post of Deputy CM. BJP who has always been very strong about its ideology, has decided to play the same ideology that divides Bihar, i.e casteist politics. Earlier, it was the same ideology that made RJD’s Lalu Prasad Yadav popular among the Biharis. Tarkishore Prasad belongs to the Vaishya community while Renu Devi belongs to the Nonia caste, one of the many castes which belongs to the Extremely Backward Castes(EBC) in Bihar. BJP’s dream to form the Government on its own in Bihar has never been successful to date owing to the casteism that runs deep in the people. It is speculated that by this move BJP is trying to expand its base and gaining support from the people from backward castes.
