Leading by Example: Joe Biden receives Covid Vaccine live on TV

Washington D.C., 22/12: US President Joe Biden has received his first Covid 19 Vaccine shot live on TV. It is believed that the president’s vaccination would increase the confidence among people to vaccinate themselves. Mr. President received the vaccine developed by Pfizer Inc.

He praised the health workers for fighting against the pandemic day and night, and called them ‘heroes’. “I’m doing this to demonstrate that people should be prepared when it`s available to take the vaccine. There’s nothing to worry about,” Biden said.

Joe Biden’s wife Jill Biden also got vaccinated and Vice-president Kamala Harris is likely to get vaccinated next week.

So far, Coronavirus has claimed over 315,000 lives and left more than 17.5 million people infected.
