Air India to avoid Iran Air Space

New Delhi, 8/1: Amidst the rising tension between Iran and the USA and hours after a Ukrainian airplane carrying 176 passengers crashed near Tehran, Air India plans to avoid the Iranian air space and rerouting all its flights which plan to fly over the Iranian airspace. This arrangement will increase the airtime by 20 minutes from Delhi and 30-40 minutes from Mumbai. Indian airlines are advised to remain vigilant regarding this matter.
