Amit Shah to Launch BJP’s 2021 Election campaign in Assam Today
Guwahati,26/12: Union Home Minister Amit Shah is in Assam to launch BJP’s election campaign for 2021. Shah recently visited West Bengal and had a very successful election campaign there.
He was received at the Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport, Guwahati with folk artists and hundreds of BJP supporters. Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal was also present to receive him.
According to ANI, Shah’s programs in Guwahati today include the distribution of financial grants to 8,000 Namghars (traditional Vaishnavite monasteries of Assam) under the Assam Darshan program. He will also lay the foundation stones for the development of “Batadrava Than” as a cultural and tourist destination, a new medical college in the state capital, and nine law colleges to be established across Assam.
