The country’s first private train Tejas may run on the track before the festive season i.e. Dussehra and Diwali. According to information received by sources from CNBC Awaaz, IRCTC (Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation) has asked the Ministry of Railways to allow Tejas to start from October 17, as well as waiving the lease charges. Let us tell you that private trains were started between Delhi-Lucknow, Ahmedabad-Mumbai, and Varanasi-Indore under the name Tejas Express. But after the Coronavirus epidemic, the operations of these trains have been stopped since 22 March. Please tell that IRCTC operates private trains.

When will the private train Tejas train start? Sources have told CNBC Awaaz that IRCTC will start private train Tejas. IRCTC has written a letter to the Railways regarding this. IRCTC has sought permission to start Tejas from 17 October. Also, the Railways have also been asked to waive the lease charges. IRCTC private train pays a lease charge of Rs 13 lakh per day for Tejas.
