Breaking: President rejects Pawan Gupta’s mercy petition

New Delhi, 2/3: In a major development,  President Ramnath Kovind rejected the mercy petition of Nirbhya convict Pawan Gupta’s mercy petition. The Nirbhaya convicts were scheduled to be hanged on March 3. Earlier today, the curative petition filed by Pawan Gupta was rejected by the Supreme Court.
