Farmers’ Protest 22nd Day:SC to hear plea on removal of protesting farmers
New Delhi, 17/12: The farmers’ protest at the Singhu border entered its 22nd day on Thursday. The number of protesting farmers keeps rising day by day. Amid the protest, the Supreme Court will resume hearing on the immediate removal of the protesting farmers.
On Wednesday, day 21 of the protest, the Supreme Court stated that it intends to form a committee having representatives of farmers unions across India, government, and other stakeholders to resolve the deadlock.
