IIT researchers makes mask from used plastic bottles

Mandi, 7/6: A group of researchers from IIT Mandi claimed that they have developed a process in which high-quality masks can be produced from used plastic bottles. The masks can be washed and reused 30 times.

The Indian Institute of Technology Mandi has also filed a patent for the waste plastic bottles derived filter membrane technology based on electrospinning. The mask’s price can be as low as RS 25.
