Loan Moratorium Case: SC said – Government should file the answer before the last hearing

During the Moratorium period, the Supreme Court has deferred hearing for 2 weeks on the demand of not taking interest in the postponed EMI. The court said that the matter is now being deferred for the final hearing. During this time everyone should file their answer and come to court with a concrete plan.

The court gave two weeks time to the Reserve Bank and the government to take concrete decisions on this issue. The court also said to consider extending the moratorium period ended on 31 August.
