Lockdown extended in France till 11th May

Paris, 14/4: Coronavirus has caused havoc in all over the world. European countries have been affected most by the deadly virus. In France, the lockdown period has been extended to May 11.

That means everything will be closed here until May 11. Similarly, no meetings can be held in the country until mid-July. This was announced by President Emmanuel Macron.

Corona has already claimed the lives of more than 1,190,000 people worldwide, while about 2 million people have been affected. Because of this, multiple nations have imposed nationwide restrictions. This has had a profound effect on the country’s economy.

The French government, however, has given more importance to the lives of the people while some nations are trying to ease the cuts without throwing it away. “The lockdown, which has been in place in the country since March 17, is being extended to May 11,” President Markon said. Schools and businesses will then be reopened in stages.
