Rafale fighter jet to take off from France today

In a piece of good news, the first batch of  Rafale fighter jets will take off from Merignac in France today for India. If required, these aircraft will be deployed within a week amidst the India-China stand-off.

12  Indian Air Force (IAF) pilots have been fully trained on the fighter aircraft. The modern fighter jet is equipped with lethal HAMMER missile and a range of other India-specific modifications.
