Sachin advised Dhoni to bat ahead of Yuvraj confirms Shewag

MS Dhoni’s promotion in the batting order ahead of Yuvraj Singh in the World Cup final is still treated as a masterstroke .But , Indian cricket legend Sachin Ramesh Tendulkar was  behind the  decision. Sachin told Sehwag that if   a left-hander (Gautam) gets out now, a left-hander (Yuvi) should go in, and if a right-hander (Virat) gets out, a right-hander (Dhoni) should go in.Yuvraj was in a great form , but Sri lanka had two very good off-spinners.He stressed in the fact that the left and right hand combination should continue.Dhoni was involved in a 109-run partnership with top-scorer Gautam Gambhir (97) and then stitched 54 runs with Yuvraj (21 not out) as India ended a 28-year wait to clinch their second 50-over World Cup title.
