Shaheen Bagh may be turned into Jallianwala Bagh after Delhi polls: Asaduddin Owaisi

New Delhi, 5/2: AIMIM Chief Asduddin Owaisi again made a controversial statement regarding the Shaheen Bagh protest. He suspected that the government using forces to clear the Shaheen Bagh protesters. It may be noted that Protesters are protesting against the controversial Citizenship amendment act for over 50 days.

Owaisi said, “Government must give a clear cut answer that till 2024 NRC will not be implemented. Why are they spending Rs 3900 crore for NPR? I feel this way because I was a History student. Hitler during his reign conducted census twice and after that, he pushed the jews in a gas chamber. I don’t want our country (to) go in that way.”

He also claimed that Shaheen Bagh may turn into another Jallianwala Bagh after the Delhi election.
