Stock Exchange: Sensex and Nifty hits record High on Monday
Mumbai, 28/12: Sensex and Nifty hit record high on Monday. As per the early trends, Sensex rose 381 points to touch 47,354.71 points while Nifty jumped 50 points to touch 13,865.45 points. HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Reliance Industries were the biggest contributors to Sensex.
The rise in the stock market was expected after Donald Trump signed a $900 billion relief package for COVID 19.
