New Delhi, 20/12: The health experts have said that India is unlikely to witness a second peak of coronavirus. Even if it happens, it won’t be as strong as the first peak. The corona cases have crossed the ten million mark on Saturday.

Virologist Dr Shahid Jameel while speaking to news agency PTI has said that India has seen the coronavirus peak in September and the daily cases are coming down since.

“At this time, we are getting about 25,500 cases daily compared to over 93,000 cases per day in mid-September. I believe the worst is over. But there will be small peaks in the future just as we witnessed in late November,” PTI quoted.
