In a recent development, the World Health Organization (WHO) has given the green light to the testing of African herbal medicine against the COVID-19 outbreak.

This development has come months after the attempts by Madagascar President Andry Rajoelina for promoting a local medicated plant-based drink with efficacy in malaria treatment.
