BCCI AGM: 10 Teams from IPL 2022, will Pune and Ahmedabad make a comeback?

Ahmedabad, 24/12: The Governing body meeting of BCCI has confirmed that the IPL 2022 will have 10 teams. The Annual General Meeting was held in Ahmedabad on Thursday. According to sources Team Ahmedabad is most likely to make a comeback along with Pune. Will the old owners return to buy the teams? That is there to be seen. The auction of 2022 will be interesting.

BCCI also decided to back ICC’s bid for the inclusion of cricket in the Los Angeles Olympic 2028. The board will also compensate both male and female cricketers for the shortened domestic season due to COVID 19.

Domestic season will kick-off with the t20 tournament Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy in January after several delays.
