Streaming platforms, digital news brought under I&B ministry

New Delhi, 11/11: In a latest development , the central government has issued orders to bring all the streaming platforms and digital news platforms under the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. The notification was released on November 9 declaring that the President has signed the order to include online films, digital news and current affairs content under the purview of the I&B Ministry headed by Union minister Prakash Javadekar.
