Breaking : President Kovind gives assent to farm bills

New Delhi, 27/9: Amidst widespread protest, president Ramnath Kovind gave his assent to the controversial farm bills.

This development came a day after the ruling Bharatiya Janata Party’s (BJP) oldest ally, Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD), quit the NDA over the farm bills.
