CDS office gets 60 officers from defense ministry

New Delhi,14/1: Ministry of Defense has moved names of 13 deputy secretaries, 25 undersecretaries, and 22 section officers to the newly created Department of Military Affairs. Department of Military Affairs is headed by the Chief of defense staff.

The main aim of the CDS is to maintain the synergy between all the armed forces. Bipin Rawat is appointed as the first Chief of Defense Staff.
