Government Issues SOPs for passengers travelling from the UK

New Delhi, 2/1: Just after announcing the resumption of flight services to the UK, the Indian Government has issued Standard Operating Procedures(SOP) for the passengers travelling from the UK. Apart from a limited number of flights, India has made negative Covid test reports mandatory for all the passengers from the UK.

According to the SOPs, the airlines will have to make sure that the passengers have a negative coronavirus report. The passengers from the UK has to undergo a self-paid RT-PCR tests on their arrival at the Indian airports. Those who test negative for coronavirus would be advised quarantine at home for 14 days.

The SOPs shall be valid till January 30 (23:59 hrs) or further orders whichever is earlier.
