Health Minister puts an end to the lockdown speculation in Delhi
State Health Minister Satyendra Jain dismissed the speculations of another lockdown in Delhi amid the rise in COVID-19 cases.
New Delhi, 16/11: The State Health Minister, Satyendra Jain dismissed all the speculations regarding another lockdown being imposed on Delhi amid the rise in COVID-19 cases. The third wave of the pandemic has hit Delhi and the infection has peaked, thus giving the thought of another lockdown getting imposed. The Health Minister, addressing the media on Monday stated that “There is no chance of a lockdown in Delhi. The peak of the third wave is gone, now cases will be reduced.” Delhi is one of the states worst hit by the pandemic and recorded 3,235 new COVID-19 cases and 95 deaths due to coronavirus, on Sunday, as per the data by the State Government.
