Indian Origin Arvind Krishna appointed as IBM CEO

Armnok,31/1:  Technology giant IBM appointed Indian Origin and IIT graduated Arvind Krishna as its Chief Executive Officer. Krishna graduated from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur and holds a Ph.D. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.

After being appointed as the CEO of IBM, Krishna said to the media,” I am thrilled and humbled to be elected as the next Chief Executive Officer of IBM, and appreciate the confidence that Ginni and the Board have placed in me,”.

Arvind will replace Virginia Rometty as the new CEO of IBM.
