J&K: Security forces killed three terrorists in Pulwama district

Pulwama, 19/2: In a major development, Indian security forces killed 3 terrorists in a joint operation in the Tral area of Pulwama district of Jammu Kashmir. The encounter was conducted by a joint team of 42 Rashtriya Rifles,180 Battalion of the Central Reserve Police Force and officers of the Jammu and Kashmir Police.

G Vijay Kumar of Jammu and Kashmir Police informed,” “Three bodies have been recovered and arms and ammunition have also been recovered from the encounter site.,”

The terrorists have been identified as Jehangeer Ahmad Wani from Aneerabad, Tral Raju Umar from Lurgam, Tral and Uzair Amin Bhat from Chesti Colony in Barramulla.

According to sources, the terrorists were associated with Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind and all were residents of Kashmir.
