Munger Violence : SP and DM transferred by Election Commission

Munger,29/10:  The big news is coming from Bihar where the SP and DM have been transferred with immediate effect after the violence erupted in Munger Violence. There was a disturbance incident in Munger during the immersion of the statue of Mother Durga two days ago. In this incident, a young man was killed due to firing while several people were injured.

Two days after this incident, there were reports of violence in the city again on Thursday. The mob had targeted several police stations and had set fire to arson as well as targeted the office of SP Lipi Singh. After this incident, the Bihar Election Commission has taken strong action and ordered the removal of Munger’s SP Lipi Singh and DM Rajesh Meena with immediate effect.
