New Delhi, 29/2: Pawan Kumar, the culprit in the Nirbhaya gang-rape case, will be heard on March 2 in a curative petition. The five-judge bench will consider the appeal in a closed room. The Supreme Court heard the case on Saturday. Notably, Pawan filed a curative petition in the Supreme Court on Friday. “His death sentence should be commuted to life imprisonment,” he said in the petition. In addition to Pawan, the apology of three other convicts, Akshay, Vinay, and Mukesh, has also been finalized. The lower court issued a third death warrant against the fearless four convicts. The court ordered that they are to be hanged at 8 a.m. on March 3.
