New Delhi, 14/1: The petrol prices have reached a new high of Rs 84.70 in Delhi on Thursday. The oil companies have spiked the price after a temporary pause. The global fuel prices have suddenly gone up to trigger the rise in the Fuel prices. The prices are expected to touch 85 by this week.
The petrol rates in Mumbai also went up by 25 paise, taking the price to Rs 91.
In January, petrol prices have increased by Re 1 rupee, while diesel has become expensive by more than one rupee. Till Thursday, petrol is priced at Rs 84.70 in Delhi, Rs 91.32 in Mumbai, Rs 86.15 in Kolkata and Rs 87.40 per litre in Chennai.
