COVID-19 Impact, Cognizant starts firing all benched employees, IT unions filed petition

In a massive revelation, US IT giant Cognizant allegedly starts benching their employees at the Chennai office and then forcing them to resign within 41 days. The decision to fire all the bench employees is taken as it’s business took a hit due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The most affected employees are of Associate levels.
