This Actor will Play Lalu Yadav on screen!!!

Mumbai,19/12: Tumbbad fame actor Sohum Shah is all set to play politician Lalu Prasad Yadav in SonyLiv’s upcoming web-series which is tentatively Maharani.

The web-series stars Sohum along with Huma Qureshi, the show is directed by Subhash Kapoor. Maharani is touted to be a political satire and the shooting of the show has already begun in Bhopal. It is expected to release early next year.

Sohum Shah, who was last seen in Netflix’s show ‘Bard of Blood’, has gained 12 kg for his role and has undergone intensive preparation for his role. Sohum will be seen in Disney Hotstar’s The Big Bull slated to release soon.
