Uttarakhand farmers join the “Delhi Chalo” protest, break barricades
In the latest development of the farmers protest against farm bills, farmers from Uttarakhand have joined the protest.
New Delhi, 30/11: Farmers gathered on the borders of the national capital Delhi on Sunday, 30 November 2020 as they refused to move into the Burari ground for the discussion with the Central Government. As per the latest information, farmers from Uttarakhand have joined the protest as well, and barricades at several borders of Delhi have been broken down, most notably at Ghazipur, while the borders at Singhu and Tikri have been barricaded to prevent their entry. The farmers demanded that they should be allowed to go to Jantar Mantar for their protest
