Farmers’ Protest: Haryana CM says next round of talks in 2-3 days

New Delhi, 20/12: The Chief Minister of Haryana Manohar Lal Khattar said on Saturday that the next round of talks between the farmers and government could take place in 2-3 days. The statement came after Khattar’s meeting with Union Agricultural Minister Narendra Singh Tomar.

Khattar addressed the media after the meeting and said “A solution to this issue should be found through discussion. I have said that this issue should be resolved soon. “The Centre is ready to talk to the farmers over their issues related to the new farm laws clause by clause, he said. 

Farmers protest on Sunday entered Day 25. Farmers till now have only got disappointment from government. Let’s just hope the next round of talks between the two parties is fruitful and the issue is solved.
