Farmers tear-gassed in clash with Police at Delhi-Haryana border

New Delhi, 27/11: The farmers’ protest was met with lathi charges and tear gas attacks from the Police as they reached the Delhi-Haryana border, on their way to Delhi to protest against the new farm laws implemented by the Centre. Farmers carrying food and supplies in tractors were stopped by the Police, as they are trying to enter Delhi through various roads. The Police have dug out trenches and put up massive barricades, as well as blocked the roads with vehicles in order to stop the protesting farmers from reaching Delhi. Earlier today, farmers were seen arguing with the Police about being tear-gassed as they were only marching towards Delhi, without creating any troubles for the public.
