New Delhi, 10/12: Union Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank said “There is no plan to cancel NEET 2021” on Thursday through a live Webinar.
While addressing students during the live discussion on Twitter Pokhriyal said, “There is no plan to cancel NEET 2021. We postponed NEET thrice in 2020 and gave students an opportunity to change their exam centers. We could have cancelled the exam but it would have been a great loss for students and the country.”
“NEET is a test that needs offline mode. The Ministry is open to give suggestions on the online model and how it can be conducted through a digital mode. The government is looking into the possibility of holding JEE exams multiple times a year. “The Government will ensure that students from across educational board will be able to give the competitive exams like JEE and NEET without any difficulty,” said the Minister.
