Australia to ban TikTok

After India, the Australian government is mulling over the idea of banning the Chinese Social media application TikTok. Australia too fears the app was being used by the Chinese government to collect users’ data. Liberal Senator Jim Molan said TikTok was being “used and abused” by the Chinese government.

So they are discussing the idea of banning TikTok due to data privacy issues.
