COVID Vaccine: Bharat Biotech confirms adverse incident during phase-1 trial

Hyderabad, 22/11: In a worrying revelation, Hyderabad based pharma company Bharat Biotech confirmed the adverse incident during the Phase-1 trial of Coronavirus vaccine COVAXIN. The company also claimed that the incident was reported within 24 hours.

Bharat Biotech said, “The adverse event during phase I clinical trials in August 2020 was reported to the CDSCO-DCGI, within 24 hours of its occurrence and confirmation.”
