Fuel price on the rise for the third consecutive day
Petrol and diesel prices in the country hiked for the third consecutive day across four metro cities.
New Delhi, 22/11: The petrol and diesel prices hiked up for the third consecutive day in four metro cities of Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai. Although the hike is marginal, it is predicted that the hike in prices of diesel and petrol is not going to take a break. According to the information received from Indian Oil Corporation, the price of petrol has been raised by 8paise and the price of diesel has been raised by 18 to 20 paise per litre.
The revised rate of petrol is Rs.81.46 from Rs. 81.38 and diesel is Rs. 71.07 from Rs. 70.88. With today’s increase, the petrol price has been cumulatively hiked by 40 paise and diesel rates have been increased by 61 paise per litre within a span of In three days.
