Sydney, 8/12: India will look to whitewash Australia for the second time in 4 years(India won 3-0 in 2016). With the series already decided, Australia will play to salvage some pride in this match. The T20i at the SCG will host a 100% capacity crowd and will be the 1st stadium to do so in the Covid situation.
Bumrah and Mayank Aggarwal are expected to miss this t20i as well to prepare for the test series. India might go in with the same XI if there is no injury concern. On the other hand, Australia looks totally out of ideas after 2nd t20. The absence of key players like Warner, Finch, Starc, and Cummins is hurting the kangaroo side badly. As far as changes are concerned they might drop opener D Arcy Short in favour of Alex Carrey. Matthew Wade will continue as the skipper in the absence of regular captain Aaron Finch. Wade would hope that his side will come out all guns blazing as they have nothing to lose.
India has stormed back strongly into the series after losing 1st two ODIs, winning 3 matches back to back, including the last ODI. They would be looking to win this one as well and take the momentum into the Test Series. This will be the last International assignment of this year for limited-overs regulars like Hardik Pandya, Shikhar Dhawan and Yuzvendra Chahal.
