On the Occasion of ‘Kisan Diwas’ farmers skips lunch

New Delhi, 23/12: The farmers protesting against the farm laws are on the streets for 27 days. They are continuing their protest in the chilling Delhi winter. They celebrated Gurupurab on the streets earlier and on Wednesday our farmers are observing ‘Kisan Diwas’.

As a mark of protest farmers are skipping lunch to show their displeasure towards the farm laws. The day marks the birthday of the former Prime Minister of India Chaudhary Charan Singh. He was considered a great farm leader and during his tenure as the PM and Agriculture Minister, he brought many farmer’s friendly bills.
