Share Market set to register highest Annual Gain since 2017

Mumbai, 31/12: The Indian Share Market is all set to register its highest annual gain since 2017. NIFTY will finish the year with a 15% high. The NSE Nifty 50 index was up 0.06 percent at 13,991.95, while the S&P BSE Sensex was 0.07 percent higher at 47,784.31.

The NIFTY rose the seventh straight day to touch 13,997.85. Rusmik Oza, head of fundamental research at Kotak Securities in Mumbai said that, “Foreign inflows are very dull today as it’s the year-end, but the undercurrent is very strong and the Nifty could cross the 14,000 level.”

NIFTY and Sensex are set to hit a high after 3 years. Both the indices were down in March due to the COVID 19 pandemic. The news of vaccine development has helped the Indian stock market to stand on its feet again.
