Asha workers will get pay raise in this state

According to Officials, 65,000 ASHA  workers are likely to get a pay raise of Rs 2000 as an incentive for their hard work during the ongoing pandemic. The Accredited Social Health Activists (ASHA workers) have been earning Rs 10000 till now in Maharashtra.  State health minister proposed this in the cabinet and if the proposal gets the approval the ASHA workers would get a monthly hike of Rs 2000.
